Beautifully decorated in a combination of Asian and baroque
styles, this 600-seater theatre plays host to the Aksra Hoon
Lakorn Loon (Thai puppet show), one of Bangkok’s must see
attractions. With its elaborate fixtures, state-of-the-art
technical features and specially-designed lighting, the theatre
is one of the only venues where one can enjoy the performance.
The puppets are created by a group of highly artistic Thai
puppeteers and have finely embroidered costumes. The shows
featured here are based on ancient literatures and legends
including the ancient epoch “Ramayana”. |
