 Description:   Mikado steam locomotive No. 950 was built by the Japan Railway Industry Association and imported into Thailand in 1950. It was used to pull trains on the northern and northeastern routes. It was the last steam locomotive set of the State Railway of Thailand used in Thailand. It was a model with a 2-8-2 wheel arrangement, meaning 2 leading wheels – 8 power wheels – 2 trailing wheels. The car weighed 57.60 tons. It was originally fueled by wood, but was later modified to use fuel oil. Mikado steam locomotive No. 950 was discontinued in 1982. It is currently located in the courtyard in front of the Siriraj Phimukhsathan Museum (At former Thonburi Railway Stationnow transformed in a park called "Chaloem Phra Kiat 72th Year Park").
