 Description:   Near the Chao Phraya river stands the atypical Chedi of Wat Kharuhabodi whose golden tip mixes spherical and circular shapes. This stupa houses a fragment of the Buddha's bone from Kapilavastu, the capital of the Shakya clan to which the Buddha belonged. These relics were discovered by an English archaeologist in 1898.
