Wat Thammikaram
วัดธรรมิการาม หรือ วัดค้างคาว
Known as:   Wat Khangkhao  Wat Dharmikarama
Description:   This canal-side temple is located on the west bank of Bang Kham canal, shaded by trees, and was previously known as WatKhangkhao (Bat Temple). This was due to the fact that many thousands of the nocturnal creatures once lived there. Visitors to this temple usually marvel at the temple’s notable murals, which date from the mid-1800s. The paintings present an interesting combination of the Western style of art such as the shading method on trees, and other techniques.
To get there, take Highway No. 311 (Lop Buri–Sing Buri) and turn right into Highway No. 3028 at Km. 18.
The temple is open every day from 8.00 am-5.00 pm.
