 Description:   This religious structure, called a stupa, is part of the ruins of a Khmer religious sanctuary. The stupa (also called pagoda or Phra That in Thai), is made of sandstone with a laterite base. Ornate designs adorn the lintels, doorways and windows. It is believed the structure builtentirely by women, who were competing with male builders who constructed Phra That PhuPhek. It dates from the mid 10th-11thcentury.s

The stupa is located in the province’s main town district, Amphoe Mueang SakonNakhon.
