This is the first rockfill dam in northeast Thailand and is
1,720m long and 40m high. The dam generates electricity and
supply to people in Sakon Nakhon and Nakhon Phanom. His Majesty
the King has presided over the opening ceremony on November 14,
1965. It is a nice, comfortable and tranquil place. |
