Description: |
|
Located in the valley, Village No. 10, Ta Ai Weng Subdistrict,
Betong District, was a movement area in the past. It was the
operation base of Malayan Communist Thieves (MCT) from the
Communist Party of Malaya who had ended the battle with weapons
and disbanded the army to be one of Thailand's Development
Contributors according to the Peace Signing Agreement of the 3
parties on 2 December 1989. At present, there is the
establishment of Werachon Museum From the living conditions
of the people along the border areas, apart from being poor,
they also face the deterioration of natural resources without
having their own land for farming. Therefore, Her Royal Highness
Princess Chulabhorn Walailak The Queen Mother therefore has a
royal initiative to improve the environment and the quality of
life of the people in the area by allocating their own land and
asking for support from various agencies to develop a career for
farmers to have a sustainable income. At the same time, the
conservation and restoration of forests remain in perfect
condition. |
