This Chedi (or stupa) is located on a hilltop in Betong town
center on the temple grounds of Wat Phutthatiwat. The large
religious structurewas built in the modern Srivijaya style, and
is painted gold. It is nearly 40 meters tall, built to
commemorate the 69th birthday anniversary of Her Majesty the
Queen. From the Chedi, one can see all of the temple grounds and
part of Betongtown center. The temple and its stupa is located
on Rattanakit Road. |
