 Description:   Located on a hill in Betong town, at Wat Phuttathiwat, on Rattanakit Road, it features a 39.9 meter-high, gold-plated Srivijaya-style construction pagoda with a height of 39.9 meters. Contains the royal relics built to celebrate Her Majesty the Queen on the occasion of her 60th birthday.

"Wat Phutthathiwat was allowed to be set up as a temple on 1 September 1917 by the founders, who were Phra Phithakthani (Lek), Betong District Officer at that period, Mr. Phum Khotcharit, Mr. Kimsui Fungsathian and Mr. Phon Suphap, received Wisungkhamsima on 13 February 1953 and tied Phatthasima on 8 June 1967. Wat Phutthathiwat is located at 65, Ratthakit Road, Moo 1, Betong Sub-District, Betong District, Yala Province under the affiliation of the Maha Nikai ministry. The area of the temple is divided into 5 floors, the temple is on a high hill that slants northward. Wat Phutthathiwat is elegantly established on the hill with the outstanding Phra That Chedi Phra Phuttha Dhamma Prakat with beautiful artistry in the applied Si Wichai style. The Buddha’s relics are contained in Maha That Chedi. It was built from the concept and the operation of the former President of the Supreme Court, Mr. Sawat Chotipanich, to celebrate and offer to Her Majesty the Queen. Her Majesty the Queen On the auspicious occasion of her 60th birthday by Her Majesty the Queen was given the name and His Highness placed the royal relics on the top of the tier on October 14, 1993. His Majesty Bhumibol Adulyadej has been graciously pleased to elevate Wat Phutthathiwat to an ordinary third-class royal monastery on December 2, 2003. "
