Description: |
|
Winter flower garden, also known as "Suan Muen Buppa", is the
only winter flower garden in the south, located in the area of
Piyamit 2 Village. The project was under the royal initiative of
Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. There are a
variety of flowers in full bloom that attract visitors,
including asters, hydrangeas, chrysanthemums, roses, peacocks,
gerberas, lilies, gladiolus, and many more charming species
worthy of the "Suan Muen Buppa". The project that Princess
Maha Chakri Sirindhorn suggested is a way to plant more
temperate plants on the first visit of the year. Since 1994, due
to the cold weather in the valley, rubber planting has been
ineffective. This project is a project that helps Thai national
development partners and former Malay Chinese people who formed
an anti-Malaysian government force in the former Thai territory
of Betong. From the forest to developing the local economy to
generating income and helping build the Thai nation, this valley
has become a tourist destination with colorful winter flowers
similar to the northern mountains, and these flowers are
exported products. It is one of the cash crops of Betong, such
as hydrangeas, chrysanthemums, roses, peacocks, gerbera and
lilies. |
