word Bird City is used is because Yala is considered the city of
birds. There is an history of raising birds for thousands of
years. Until now, it is still popular to raise birds until it
has become a local culture. especially the spiky cage bird and
Yala dove. Raising birds to become economic animals There is an
integrated bird business. and also organize international
competitions “Bird City Street Art” was first released in
2017 as a story of love and warmth. cultural diversity including
various symbols related to the southern border provinces
presented through the art of guiding peace Open spaces for
tourists to experience, stop, take pictures and check-in at new
attractions. The street art in Yala will be in the area of
Nuansakul Road Under the concept of Addictive Art, Bin Lah,
with many famous street art artists joining together to create
works of art on the walls. At present, there are 14 street art
works in total, which can be easily walked continuously. An
example of a highlight image that is unique to the eye is the
painting of a 3-eyed child by Alex face that has been created as
a picture of a 3-eyed child holding a bird, giving a feeling of
warmth and love. The birds are representatives of Yala Province.

camouflage There are also pictures of birds flying for peace,
big elephant painting which conveys the city of Yala that is
linked to the elephants of King Rama IX, etc. On the way

The "Yala Bird
Street Art” attraction was launched in Mueang district, Yala
province, in 2017. Today, street art paintings in Yala are found
in 14 spots, where visitors may walk along Nuan Sakun Road to
view them all together. Recognized as "Bird City,” Yala
organizes the ASEAN Barred Ground Dove Festival as its main
cultural event each year to boost tourism and promote social
harmonization among the people of different faiths who share a
mutual interest in dove raising. |
