Suan Khwan Mueang or Phru Bakoi is located on Thetsaban 1 Road
approximately 300 meters from the City Pillar Shrine. Covering
an area of some 207 rai, the park provides a sports ground and
place for relaxation for the local people. A large pond covering
an area of 69 rai inside the park has been landscaped and lined
with pine trees to look like a beah scenery, as Yala is a
landlocked province. It also serves as a grand venue for the
ASEAN Barred Ground Dove Festival and is the most up-to-
standard one in the south. |
