Si Suriyothai Park  -
 Known as:
Description: Si Suriyothai Park is located in the military area, behind the Ordnance Tyre Repair Company, Ayutthaya. It was built by the Liquor Distillery Organization so as to make merit for all former Thai kings as this area was once the Inner Court of the royal palace. King Bhumibol graciously gave the name “Suan Si Suriyothai”, or Si Suriyothai Park to the park. It was built on the occasion of the celebration of Queen Sirikit’s fifth cycle birthday, or her 60th birthday, in 1991.

Covering an area of 8000 square metres, the park consists of a pavilion, Queen Suriyothai Pavilion and a mound of over 400-year-old marble Semas, boundary stones of a temple, containing the parts of Buddha images taken from Wat Phutthaisawan.

The park is open daily to the public from 9:00 to 17:00. To get to the park, drive along the route that takes you to Chedi Phra Si Suriyothai. The park is located on U Thong Road, near the bank of the Chao Phraya River.
