PARKS GARDENS AND ZOOS  -  Santi Phap Park
สวนสันติภาพ
 Address:
 Known as:   Suan Santi Phap
Description:   Suan Santi Phap or Santi Phap Park is a public park that is located in this area. This park covers about 20 rai. The name of the park means “peace”. This park was open to public on August, 16 1998. The opening date is the same as date of the end of World War II (August, 16 1945). If you observe, you will see the dove with olive branch in its beak in the pond. This symbolism represents world peace.
The atmosphere in the park was much different than the outside. My friend and I happened to be there in the early afternoon. The park was not much crowded. Well… I was sure that this park would be full with people in the late afternoon and in the evening. If you go shopping around here and feel tired, you can visit the park to hide yourself away from the bustle and hustle world.

Location: Rajavithee Road, Ratchathewi District, Near Victory Monument. The easiest way to go there is to get off the skytrain (BTS) at Victory Monument station. Then, walk counterclockwise through Victory Monument Skywalk around the circle until you see Rajavithee Road. Keep walking on the road for 10 minutes.
