King Taksin monument
ศาลและอนุสาวรีย์สมเด็จพระเจ้าตากสินมหาราช
 Address:
Known as:   Monument of King Taksin the Great
Description:   The monument and shrine were built to commemorate King Taksin the Great, known for his victory in a battle with Burmese troops at the mouth of the Cholo River. The location celebrates the king and his troops’ journey through Chachoengsao. It is said a pagoda once stood in the same spot, similarly to commemorate King Taksin the Great, but in 1941, it inexplicably fell to ruin. A new shrine was eventually erected in 1988.

The shrine and memorial are open for public viewing 24 hours a day, every day.
