Museum of the Molding Sand (Pra Sad Sai) is the biggest indoor

Sand Sculpture Festival of Thailand in November 2007. The event

anniversary. At that time, more than 70 sculptors from all over
the world participated in this event, for example, Holland,
Belgium, Czechoslovakia, Ireland, American and Thailand. Today,
there are more than 30 pieces of molding sand on display.
The exhibition can be separated into 3 zones. The sand

Bhumibol Dam, the rain making story, jazz band, Mae Fah Luang

exhibited in the dark room illuminated with lights, together
with sounds; they turn into spectacular shows. Shows that can be
seen in this room are, for example, giants and temple of the
Emerald Buddha, Wat Sothonwararam, Jatukam Ramathep, The
Elephant Battle of King Naresuan, Kinnari, Hanuman and
characters from Phra Aphai Mani, a part of Thai Folklore.
The last zone includes sculptures of important landmarks around
the world. It contains distinctive features in each country,
