Koh Khao Beach is located at Na Phaya sub-district, Lhangsuan
district; it is on the beach road from Paknam Lhangsuan to La
Mae district for about 10 kilometers. It is a very peaceful
beach, it has Prince Chumphon Veterans Memorial Shrine that was
built on the Jane Talay Royal Vesselthat is a ship model, and
ThepNimit Monk Monastry (Koh Khao Temple) that is away from
Lhangsuan District Office around 15 kilometers. Inside, there is
Standing Buddhaand Guan Yin (The Goddess of Mercy), the area
around are hillock that allow us to see the nearby beaches.
Other than this, there is also Dhamma retrest area for people
who are faithful.
The beach is a wide area that continues to
the hillock. On the foothillsnext to the sea is the reef. Koh
Khao Beach’s characteristicis a little slant. The water is not
so deep so you can enjoy it and there are food stands available
which are perfect for family day off.
