Description: |
|
This temple is an archeological site in old Chumphon where
objects such as sandstone Buddha images from the Srivijayaera
have been found. The temple’s Chedi (stupa) is said to contain
bones of the Lord Buddha. The decoration of the gates, walls and
other buildings exemplify the local architectural style.
Located in Tambon Tak Daet, Wat Pradoem is on the left-hand side
of Highway 41, past Tambon Wang Phai and across from Saeng Daet
Canal. The temple is open to visitors daily from 8.00 am-5.00
pm. |
