Kapo Waterfall Forest Park is located in Kapo Waterfall National
Reserved Forest which is in Tasae District. It covers area about
283 rai. Royal Forest Department registered this place as forest
park at 1 October B.E. 2501. Regarding landscape, there is a
plain with a stream. Due to Royal Forest Department, there are a
lot of trees in the forest. Kapo waterfall is a small one with
20-metre width and 2 -metre tall. There is water which has the
origin from Kapo Mountain all the year making it be a good place
to relax and enjoy the waterfall. In the forest, there are a
pavilion and a place for tent. If you want more information, you
can ask forest park’s officer at Kapo Waterfall Forest Park’s
temporary office.
You can visit this waterfall all the
year. Before going back, tourists can buy a lot of goods such as
little finger banana, mangosteen, Jaosawei Pomelo, pineapple,
durian, rambutan etc. You can also buy some products from sea
such as shrimp paste, Katuk fish sauce and squid.
Moreover, this forest park is not far from Phetkasem highway. If
tourists want to go toChumphon, they can stop their cars here
and relax. It will not waste much time since this place is far
from main road only 400 metres. Another tourist attraction
nearby is Pisadan Cave. You can go and enjoy the beauty of the
cave.
Kapo Waterfall Forest Park is far from Chumphon
approximately 30km. and far from Tasae District about 13 km. If
you want to come here, use highway number 4 and turn right for 2
km. Then, you will reach your destination.
