It is located inside Wat Tham Pha Ya at Ban Mai Santi Tham,
Tambon Na Dok Kham. Inside the cave is a flock of millions of
insect-eating bats. Visitors can wait and see them flying out of
the cave and searching for food in a long line for nearly an
hour from 5.00 to 6.00 p.m. everyday.
To get there: From
Amphoe Na Duang, take Highway No. 2138 for approximately 8
kilometres. Turn into Highway No. 2249 for 9 kilometres and turn
right at Ban Phia (near Wat Liap). Then, continue along the Ro
Pho Cho Road (No. 3117) for 11 kilometres. |
