 Description:   Built in 1783 at the Buddha drowned in the middle between Wat Bang Phra and Wat Si Maha Pho, so it is called "Wat Klang Bang Pra". It is said that in 1857, Myanmar has hit Ayutthaya. Both the vassal and the villagers, Buddha and the Sri Maha Pho have been evacuated by boat from Chao Phraya River to Bang Phra Canal. During a storm trip; the boat crashed, the Buddha drowned, the Sri Sri Maha Pho floating on the water from Bang Phra canal to Tambol Sri Maha Pho, which is the highland so it has grown there.สิ่ง
Important things in temples
Luang Pho Somwang is a statue of Buddha, Marn Wichai style, made of the brick with mosaic tiles. It was built by Phra Kru Sunthorn Wuttikun (Luang Por Putt Suntharo) in 1981. When completed, they hold ceremony and put 99 images of 9 inched Buddha image inside Luang Pho Somwang for prosperity of the worshipers.
