 Known as:  
 Description: First was Ban Chiang, now Ban Prasat is considered as the second archaeological site of Thailand. Setting up as an outdoor museum, it is believed that there was a community settled down in this area since prehistory period, according to the history findings. The archaeological site is surrounded by three pits, with the proof of human evolution, community belief and culture, such as human skeletons and ancient pottery pieces from Dvaravati and Khmer period, approximately from 1,500 to 3,000 years ago.

Getting there:To visit the this archaeological site, reach the Highway No. 2 (Nakhon Ratchasima-Khon Kaen) for 44 kilometers, and turn right for another one kilometer. A bus from Bangkok to Nakhon Ratchasima, or Khon Kaen, Udon Thani, Nong Khai, and Kalasin are also preferable.
