Description: |
|
It looks like every inch of Wat Si Phan Ton is sculptured or
painted. Located at one of the major intersections in Nan, the
huge temple building can be seen from the street. The altar is a
beautiful arrangement of seated and standing images and a
beautiful painted background. The inner walls are painted top to
bottom with scenes from Nan's history. To the side of the main
gate is also one of the really long racing boats, which is used
during the races on the Nan river. |
