 Description:   Talad Nam Bang Ku Wiang is situated around the joining point of Bang Ku Wiang canal mouth, Bang Rao Nok canal mouth, and Bangkok Noi canal between Bod bon temple and Pho En temple, Amphoe Bang Kruai, Nonthaburi. Additionally, HRH Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid a visit here 10 years ago, leaving all merchants and villagers with the utmost pleasure.

This morning market starts from 6.00hrs to 8.00hrs. Despite its small size, fruits and vegetables available here are local produce from the vicinity; thus, are cleanliness and price guaranteed. Apart from fresh ingredients, food and drinks, staple and common goods, making merit in a rare Buddhist traditional Thai way is still preserved here. The scene of monks from nearby areas coming with canal boats to collect alms offered by villagers every morning gives reminiscence which anyone could take part in.

Access The ferry from Wat Chalo pier in Amphoe Bang Kruai departs every 15 minutes and takes 45 minutes to the destination. Service is available from 5.00hrs – 20.00hrs with the fare of 5 baht. Visitors can opt for Nonthaburi pier (Phibunsongkram II pier) with the same price and traveling time. A one-hour charter ride is also available from Bangkok’s Chang pier via Bangkok Noi canal – Aom Talad Nam Bang Ku Wiang canal, costing 300 baht.
