The Khao San or Khao San Rock source is a limestone mountain
that contains animal fossils that can be found at Ten
monasteries Ban Mai Nonko, Ban Tok Subdistrict,. A single-cell
sea called “Fusulinids” is found in limestone. It has a long,
pointed head and a pointed end. The shape and size are similar
to rice grains, causing people to mistake them for grains. Rice
has turned to stone. Therefore it has a general name. "Khot Khao
San or Khao San Stone" Fusulinids are single-celled marine
animals that lived in shallow, temperate seas in the past
280-240 million years ago. They are creatures found only in the
Permian period. and has become extinct since the end of the
Permian period This type of Khao San can still be found in many
other places that are mountains and ancient limestone caves,
such as Tham Thep Bandan Temple, Ban Lam Changhan, Sam Yaek
Subdistrict, Wichian Buri District, Tham Yai Nam Nao, Ban Yang
Cha, Phu Nam Yot Subdistrict, Wichian Buri District, and Ban Sap
Chom Phu. Ban Phochan Subdistrict, Nong Phai District
Transportation: Cars can drive in and park to see naturally
occurring sites. Can be clearly seen on the rocks in the
monastery area, full ten Phetchabun.
