The night market in Cha-am takes place every Wednesday night and
is the biggest of its kind in that area. It’s popular with both
Thai and foreign tourists as well as local people. The market
starts from about 5:30 pm and runs until 10 pm. The market is
massive and is spread out over a large area near the municipal
offices and the railway station. For foodies there is a lot to
taste and consume and so make sure you come hungry. However,
there are many other stalls selling things like jewelry,
clothing, electronics, DVDs and all kinds of gifts and
souvenirs. There is surely something for everyone. |
