Kuan Yin Inter Religious Park is located on TambolPuusawan with
the area of 180 rai. Inside, it is divided into Mahayan – Tao
area, Buddhism area, monks area, Hinduism area and the Kuan Yin
statue area. The interesting thing here is the Kuan Yin statue
which has 1,000 eyes and 1,000 hands carved from
cinnamomumcamphora from China. It is the biggest Kuan Yin statue
in the world. The tourists can roam along this area or pay 10
THB for the caravan. Inside the park, there is also a natural

For those who want to
travel here, take the Petchkasem Road at Amphur Ta Yang and
follow the LiabKlongChonpratan road to Petch Dam. Take the right
turn to Kuan Yin Inter Religious Park or take the road to Amphur
Baan Lad on the way from Petchkasem Road. The tourists must take
the tram inside the park. Then, the tram will park and allow the
tourists to worship the Triple Gem and walk to the Buddhism
area. Along the way, there are lots of Buddhist doctrines to be
seen. After that, there is the Mahayan – Tao area. Then, the
tourists will be taken to the paradise. The door of the paradise
area was built by the craftsmen from China. Finally, the
tourists arrives at the Kuan Yin, with the imitated Kuan Yin
casted by metal in 4 postures; standing on the lotus, standing
on the carp, standing on the turtle and standing on the dragon.
The tourists must prepare 20THB bank note to pay for the worship
set. Also, the tourist must not miss to pass the arch which is
believed to blow away all the bad luck.
After
worshipping, the tourists can stop by at the KruaRongboon to
have lunch or they can have lunch at the VIP kitchen in front of
the reception area. When lunch is finished, the tourists can buy
the sacred object as a merit. The bill for lunch is up to how
much the tourists want to make merit. |
