April is a good time to fly kites and Cha-am beach in
Phetchaburi is a destination for this activity as it's hosting
an international kite festival titled "Coloring The Sky" from
Friday 22nd of April to Sunday 24th, from 11am to 7pm.
Organised by the Tourism Authority of Thailand, the three-day
event is packed with spectacular shows of international and Thai
kites, quad line stunt kites, dual-line stunt kites performed by
fliers with high-speed flying skills, as well as a battle of
unique traditional Chula and Pak Pao kites.
There was an
exclusive tour that offers a kite-flying experience and lessons
from professional kite fliers while a large space reserved for
everyone in the family to have fun flying kites together. A DIY
corner is available to
show how to draw, paint and create your own kites. |
