 Description:   Rama 1 established the chakri dynasty. Chakri dynasty came after the Ayutthaya dynasty. King Rama 1 reigned from 1782 till 1809. He established the capital of Bangkok. He defeated a massive Burmese invasion. When the Burmese invasion was dealt with, they were no longer threat to the kingdom anymore. Disciplined the system of monks and Buddhism. Enforced law and order. Created a government. Increased trade.
The royal monument is cast in bronze depicting the Chao Phraya Chakri standing on a horse.

"The Battle of Asae Wookie" or "The Battle of Phitsanulok" was an important war in the Thonburi period. where King Krungthonburi gave a royal command to Chao Phraya Chakri and Chao Phraya Surasi to protect Phitsanulok from Burma's invasion, Chao Phraya Chakri controlled the troops to fight against the Burmese who surrounded Phitsanulok on both sides of the river without compromise.
