Ao Mae Ramphueng   -
อ่าวแม่รำพึง
 Address:
 Known as:
Description:   Ao Mae Rampueng is located in Bang Saphan District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. It is 120 km from the city of Prachuap Khiri Khan. Take Highway No. 4 (Petchakasem Road) into Bang Saphan District for 17 km. Ao Mae Rampueng is open all day and night. It has a beautiful, white beach with a road that runs along shoreline. A number of lodging places and seafood restaurants are open for tourists, making the bay suitable for recreation. As most villagers fish for a living, visitors can observe fisherman’s lifestyles while they put squids and other fish out to dry on both sides of the road. Ao Mae Rampueng and Mae Rampueng Beach in Rayong Province are often mistaken to be the same place. Please note that the “Ao” is a bay, not a “Beach”. In addition, the tale of Ao Mae Rampueng also parallels with the legend of Nom Sao Beach (Sam Roi Yod Beach).
