Description: |

Located in Wat Ban Don, the museum collects and displays more
than a hundred of traditional shadow puppets “Nang Yai” in
different sizes and characters, some of which are aged more than
200 years old and were brought from its origin in Phattalung.
Nang Yai is a shadow puppetry using large pieces of leather
carved and painted into different characters, which is a rare
ancient art you seldom see elsewhere. You can hire Nang Yai
performance, by contacting three days in advance.
