The Samut Prakan Observation Tower is 179.55 meters tall and
there is a stuning view from the top floors on Bangkok city,
Chao Phraya river and the Gulf of Thailand. 23rd and 25th floor
are open to the public and there were some exibitions on the
25th Floor at the time of the visit. The tower opened late 2022
with free access until the 1st November 2022. Closed on Mondays
The Samut Prakan Observation Tower is built on the site of the
Old Paknam prison. It’s not far from the City Hall and the Chao
Phraya River.
At the foot of the tower, a smal park displays
huge dinosaur statues and an old locomotive build in 1903 by a
German company that used to run on Maeklong line in the past.
