 Address:
 Known as:
Description:   King Chulalongkorn (1853-1910), also known as Rama 5, is one of the great kings of Thailand, and fondly remembered by his people. Statues of him are frequently to be seen throughout Thailand, frequently at the front of provincial administration buildings.
This statue of the king stands in front of the Samut Prakan province (to the immediate south of Bangkok) admin buildings. The king stands on a plinth, and is in western military garb. The statue is on the Chao Phraya river front. As with most Thai statues, this is also a shrine. People can pay their respects and make offerings before the statue.
