Description: |

The charming of this market is that it sits along the canal in
the Thai and Mon community. There are many interesting local
product and delicious food including the homegrown fruits, boat
noodles and hand-woven baskets.
Getting there:
By bus: there are a few air-condition buses including Number 138
from Chatuchak to Phra Pradaeng, Number 140 from Victory
Monument to Suk Sawat through the Expressway and Number 506 from
Pak Kret to Phra Pradaeng. Otherwise, the non air-con bus is
Number 82 from Sanam Luang to Phra Pradaeng. Note that you will
still need to take local transportation to the floating market.
By car:
Take the Expressway and exit on the Dao Khanong-Suk Sawat to Suk
Sawat Road, go straight until you see the Phra Pradaeng
T-junction, turn left next to the BP Gas Station. After pass the
Phra Pradaeng Market, turn left on Wat Song Tham Worawihan and
keep going for another 5 kilometers. Take a turn into Soi
Phetchahung 33 and you’ll see the Bang Namphueng Health Center
which is a parking area of the market.
