Wat Bang Nam Phueng Nok
วัดบางน้ำผึ้งนอก
 Address:     0-Jan-00
Known as:   Phra Sangkajai Laung Pho Mongkhon Samut Phutthamuni
Description: Wat Bang Nam Phueng Nok is an ancient temple over 350 years old, located next to the Chao Phraya River and one of Bang Kachao important ferry ports. It appears that the large Buddha image stands tall for people to worship. There is also an old ubosot with architectural value from the late Ayutthaya period that was restored by the Fine Arts. Department. Inside you can see murals. There is also a painting on the wall beside the ubosot.
The outstanding Luang Pho Yai sculpture is facing the Chao Phraya River.
Wat Bang Nam Phueng Nok does not show any evidence of its creation. But from the architecture of the old church and viharn, it can be assumed that the temple was built in the late Ayutthaya period, around 2210 or 350 years ago, and from the stone inscription found that Chao Phraya Thammathikon has come to restore it.
