Wat Charoen Sukharam
วัดเจริญสุขารามวรวิหาร
 Address:
Known as:   Wat Charoen Suk  Ram
Description:   This temple compound is also home to a fish sanctuary, where fishing and any catching of marine animal is prohibited. The pond, located in front of the temple, teems with two types of indigenous fish in particular: PlaTaphianNgoen and PlaTaphian Thong. Noodle vendors nearby offer steaming bowls of broth-based noodle soup, making it a pleasant place to have lunch and feed the fish.
The temple itself enshrines a highly-revered Buddha image, known as Luang Pho Toa. It is made of laterite and is cast the style of Sukhothai period.

To get there, follow the Samut Songkhram–Bang NokKhwaek route (the same way to King Rama II Memorial Park) for around 5 kilometers, passing the Church of the Virgin Mary. Cross the Bang NokKhwaek Bridge, and watch for the temple’s sign on the right. Turn right for around 500 meters.
