Pha Sadet is one of the most important historical sites in
Saraburi, the historical province in Thailand. Pha Sadet is a
cliff with an overhanging rock to the railway area. It is
located at Moo 5, Tambol Tabkwang, Amphur Kaeng Koy, Saraburi.
This is an important historical site especially for the State
Railway of Thailand. The railway here is the route to the
northeast region (e-sarn) and also the first railway in Thailand
built by the order of King Rama 5. Nowadays, the Pha Sadet
railway station is a 3 level railway station, 138 kilometers
from Saraburi. It was renovated to be one of the tourist
attractions in Saraburi. The tourists can travel here by train
or car. Pha Sadet is located at the edge of the railway station,
Tambol Tabkwang, Amphur Kaeng Koy around 30 kilometers from the
city. If you bring your own car, take the Mittaparb Road for
around 25 kilometers and during the KM132-133 turn left at Baan
Subbon school for around 3 kilometers. Pha Sadet is around 50
meters from the station. |
