 Address:
Known as:   General Prem Tinsulanonda Historical Park
Description:   The General Prem Tinsulanonda Historical Park of Songkhla is the place which the people of Songkhla and those who have admiration for the good deeds and sacrifices of General Prem Tinsulanonda, the President of the Privy Council and Senior Statesman, joined together to create in his honor. The multi-purpose building was constructed as a facility for domestic and international meetings and seminars. Presently it is a Statesmanís Hall dedicated to the works of General Prem Tinsulanonda. The area surrounding the building has been improved to include a public park, a center of learning about mangrove forests, a place for camping and relaxation, one of the important tourist attractions in Songkhla Province. Mr. Banyat Jansena, a previous governor of Songkhla, along with a number of government officials, representatives of the private sector, and citizens established this as a center of cooperative efforts of those dedicated. Subsequently the General Prem Tinsulanonda Historical Foundation assumed overall responsibility for the care, maintenance and future development of the Historical Park.
