Chainsaw engine, the sawmill in the former Na San Municipality
was located at No. 1, Khlong Chawang Road, Na San Subdistrict,
Ban Na San District, Surat Thani Province. It was a sawmill and
a railway sleeper treatment factory at Huai Mut Railway Station,
Ban Na San District The business was in operation from 1954-1969
before being closed. It is a steam engine that has been adapted
to pull a belt to become a sawmill. It is also used as a whistle
signal to tell workers the time to start work, lunch break, and
end work. The sound of the whistle will resonate far and can be
heard throughout the city of Na San. |
