Wat Tham Singkhon is an ancient temple of Ayutthaya period.
Behind the temple there is a large cave, within the cave
including a large Buddha image of Lelai Forest posture, with
elephant and monkey lying in the front at both sides and in the
middle of the cave are stucco images of deities, demons, and
Mother Earth, surrounding Lord Buddha. On the cave ceiling are
stucco and spiral motifs and decorated ceramic crockery. |
