Phra That Srisurat is located on the top of Tha Phet Hill near
Suratthani city, which was the first pagoda of Bandon community
built and a sacred place. It is commonly known as Phra That Khao
Tha Phet was built in Srivichai style in 1957. The hilltop,
about 210 meters above sea level, offers commanding panoramic
views of Surat Thani town and Tapi River. |
