Cultural center Samui (Dusit Dhewa Samui Cultural and Fine Arts
Center) is far enough away from the main tourist areas and
routes Samuithat there is almost never anyone. Even the entrance
fee most of the time is not charged, and instead of usher is
just a box with the inscription value, where the fair visitors
must leave 50 baht for entrance. However, it is well worth a
visit though, because it is not trampled by crowds of tourists
and there are no sellers of stuff.
This center is built on
the basis of a sample of a traditional Thai home, although it is
fair to say that not every Thai house looks like this. It's more
of a progressive modern Thai house with several unusual features
with Chinese motifs. Right inside the house floor is a small
artificial lake-basin, adjacent to the house. However, you will
be able to see when you get here. Unfortunately, guides or
instructional signs not here, so you can imagine why the need
for such wisdom, you will have. It should be borne in mind that
only part of the house (first floor) open to the public, and the
remainder is residential and the entrance is prohibited.
Around the house lies a poorly groomed, but dotted with all
sorts of statues. Also on the site is a stream and if you walk
along a little further inland, you can see the beautiful gazebo
and a workshop under a canopy displaying traditional Thai
outfits, which can be photographed. Worth photographing 500 baht
and is very popular with honeymooners.
Don't worry if you
don't meet. Just leave in the box 50 baht for entrance, and you
can easily walk around the area where you like, just don't go
into the residential part of the house. On inspection of this
place will take no more than 30 minutes. |
