Koh Samui is located in the Gulf of Thailand, with an area of
247 squares kilometers, Koh Samui is the third largest island of
Thailand after Phuket and Koh Chang (of Trat Province). Known as
the Coconut Island, Koh Samui is one of the most famous and
popular attractions of Thailand, which there are Chaweng Beach
and Lamai Beach are famous beautiful beach. The topography of
the island is that of a plain with a mountain range in the
middle and has tropical monsoon climate with the rainy season
from May to October and the most splendid time to visit is
around December to April. |
