Uttaradit Province. It is said that he was the son of Phra Chao
Ruangthai Thirat, the ruler of Singhanavati of Yonok Nak Nakhon
Chiang Saen kingdom. Chao Fah Ham Kuman was assigned by his
father to rule Lap Lae city, which was the border city of Yonok
Nak Nakhon Chiang Saen kingdom, in 970 A.D. to prevent the
attack from Kamphotcha Nakhon (Khmer) and Burma. Therefore, he
is believed to be the first ruler of Lap Lae city.
As for the
direction to the monument, from Lap Lae Market junction, the
tourists can take the route to Mae Poon Waterfall. When seeing
Wat Mai on left side, turn left to the alley in the opposite
side of the temple and continue for around 800 meters. Chao Fah
